About
Why do accidents happen even though rules, technology, and training are in place? Because safety does not fail because of machines—it fails because of human behavior. In this keynote speech, I will show why over 60% of all workplace accidents are behavior-related and why this is precisely where our greatest opportunity lies. Safety is not created by more regulations, but by attitude, awareness, and psychological safety. Using concise examples and surprisingly simple micro-interventions, participants will learn how leadership influences behavior—often unconsciously—why fear and control weaken safety, and how a strength-based safety culture leads to measurably fewer incidents. This keynote speech does not make an appeal, but rather offers a change of perspective: away from "having to follow rules" and toward safety that people really want. Practical. Scientifically sound. Immediately effective.
